Peter Gall
Director
Peter was a partner of Rhodes Kildea from 1983 until 2006 and has been a Director of Rhodes Kildea Pty Ltd from when the firm became an incorporated legal practice in 2006.
Peter heads the firm’s commercial team with nearly 40 years experience in all types of conveyancing (specialising in rural and water licence areas), commercial and business law matters.
Peter’s family have been in the Moree district for over 140 years. He and his family have owned land in the district and operated a grazing business during that time. Peter has practised law exclusively in Moree and has an intimate knowledge of the town and district and it’s people and issues.
Sarah Osborn
Director
Sarah was employed by the firm in 2001, became an Associate in late 2003 and was appointed as a Director in October, 2006.
Sarah practices primarily in the areas of Wills & Estates and Rural & Town Conveyancing and also has carriage of many commercial and business law matters and oversees the administration and general management of the firm.
Sarah was born and attended primary school in Moree and she and her husband run a small scale farming business so she has an understanding of and can empathise with those involved with rural enterprise.
Karen Kong
Conveyancing Clerk (JP)
Karen came to the firm in February 2004 following an extensive career in banking and finance having worked for 25 years with the Commonwealth Bank covering all facets of banking including customer service, teller, home loans officer, loan documentation as well as being a business and agribusiness manager.
Karen has carriage of the majority of our town conveyancing matters, bank agency settlements and assists with bookkeeping when required.
Jamelie Dudley Smith
Conveyancing Clerk
Jamelie joined the firm in November 2021 as a Conveyancing Clerk and is currently studying Conveyancing – Law & Practice through Macquarie University. Upon completion late 2023, Jamelie will be licenced to manage all aspects of land and residential conveyancing matters.
Jamelie was born and attended her schooling years in Moree. After spending a decade living and working abroad, Jamelie returned to Moree where she and her husband now run a Lucerne farming business.
SUPPORT STAFF
The professional staff of the firm are assisted by a hard working and experienced support staff of receptionist, bookkeeper, administrative assistant, personal assistants and secretaries many of whom are local and longstanding members of the firm.
