Peter Gall


Peter was a partner of Rhodes Kildea from 1983 until 2006 and has been a Director of Rhodes Kildea Pty Ltd from when the firm became an incorporated legal practice in 2006.

Peter heads the firm’s commercial team with nearly 40 years experience in all types of conveyancing (specialising in rural and water licence areas), commercial and business law matters.

Peter’s family have been in the Moree district for over 140 years. He and his family have owned land in the district and operated a grazing business during that time. Peter has practised law exclusively in Moree and has an intimate knowledge of the town and district and it’s people and issues.

Sarah Osborn


Sarah was employed by the firm in 2001, became an Associate in late 2003 and was appointed as a Director in October, 2006.

Sarah practices primarily in the areas of Wills & Estates and Rural & Town Conveyancing and also has carriage of many commercial and business law matters and oversees the administration and general management of the firm.

Sarah was born and attended primary school in Moree and she and her husband run a small scale farming business so she has an understanding of and can empathise with those involved with rural enterprise.


Alistair Spring


Alistair came to the firm in 2013 as a graduate after completing his Bachelor of Arts/ Laws at the University of New England. Alistair was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in May 2014 and became an Associate of the firm in July, 2016.

Alistair is currently part of our litigation team and has quickly gained extensive experience in the defence and prosecution of criminal matters in the Moree Local and District Courts as well as the Local Courts of Mungindi, Boggabilla, Warialda, Inverell and Narrabri.

Alistair also practices in Family and Civil law where, although experienced in the Courts of those jurisdictions, he emphasises a particular focus on early, practical and cost effective resolutions.

Alistair is becoming increasingly involved in the commercial arm of the firm and is extremely competent in carrying out research and providing advices in relation to any unusual or complicated matters.

Alistair originally comes from Mudgee, and prior to settling in Moree had the opportunity to work extensively with agriculture and strengthen ties within the Moree community. He is enthusiastic not only in his pursuit of a career in rural practice at the firm, but in his ongoing involvement with the Moree and district community.


Nicole Youngberry


Nicole joined our firm in 2016, after having studied and commenced practice as a solicitor in Brisbane.

Nicole is part of our family law and litigation team, and has specialised primarily in family law matters over the past several years. Nicole also has experience across a range of other matters including child protection, criminal law, property, commercial and civil litigation matters.

Whilst Nicole has extensive experience appearing before a number of Courts including Local Magistrates Courts, District Courts, Supreme Courts, Children’s Courts and the Federal Circuit Court, Nicole has a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution.

Furthering this passion for alternative dispute resolution, Nicole has also gained her qualifications as a Nationally Accredited Mediator, Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, and Collaborative Family Law Practitioner.

Nicole is passionate about assisting families during difficult times, working hard to ensure that the best outcome for the family is reached, not only now, but into the future.

Sam Adams


Sam is originally from Coffs Harbour and joined our firm in mid-2017 as an undergraduate after relocating to Moree. Sam has enjoyed the transition to a rural area and has taken the opportunity to play an active part in the local community.

Sam graduated from University of New England with a Bachelor of Criminology/Bachelor of Laws in 2018 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in the same year.

Sam practices in the areas of Wills, Estates and Conveyancing. Sam is looking forward to progressing his career with a rural firm and is happy to assist you with any enquiries regarding Will’s, Power of Attorney’s & Enduring Guardian’s, Administration of Estates, and Conveyancing.


Karen Kong

Conveyancing Clerk (JP)

Karen came to the firm in February 2004 following an extensive career in banking and finance having worked for 25 years with the Commonwealth Bank covering all facets of banking including customer service, teller, home loans officer, loan documentation as well as being a business and agribusiness manager.

Karen has carriage of the majority of our town conveyancing matters, bank agency settlements and assists with bookkeeping when required.



The professional staff of the firm are assisted by a hard working and experienced support staff of receptionist, bookkeeper, administrative assistant, personal assistants and secretaries many of whom are local and longstanding members of the firm.
